I'd wager we might also get the synth versions and the remastered TR1-3 original game soundtracks too, because I'd imagine those wouldn't cost that much to do.

Except I think expanding the orchestral recording has higher priority here, so any money that is above the threshold will be spend on that. The remastered originals are probably the last thing in the line and I don't think there'll be extra funds left for them.

^Who knows, I'd imagine that some of the money they'll be making via the merchandising shop on their website will also go towards the stretch goals and for the orchestral recordings there'll be a cut-off point somewhere after which it'll be too late to hire additional musicians, etc. so any money made after that could theoretically go towards the synth remasters. That being said, I hope they'll manage to get as many of the extras they wanted for the orchestral recordings as possible. They really should be as good as they possibly can be.

I would pay extra or support another Kickstarter project if it meant we could get our hands on remastered OSTs. The tracks Nathan has uploaded to his SoundCloud have definitely made me hungry for more of those

Though I'd love to see what he'd do with a TR Suite-type production, given how much of the music in TR4 and TRC is shorter sting music. |
