The scape of promotion for the film seems considerably modest, seeing that Berlin "premiere event". Proper blockbusters usually have red carpet style premieres, not small events in a theatre... but I guess they're playing it safe, which is hardly surprising given the franchise's reputation. Hopefully London will have a be bigger start.

I disagree that we need good reviews for a sequel. We need good box office performance. The 2nd Angelina movie apparently made enough to make a third movie and it only didn't happen because AJ didn't want to do another one. If the budget now is below 100 million then we should get a sequel if it reaches 200 million in revenue, I think.

In fairness in regards to the embargoes Warner Bros generally has a two day rule for the film reviews on the majority of their movies good and bad Wonder Woman, Fantastic Beasts, Justice League etc. If the social media reaction is good then expect it to be lifted early.

Wonder Woman's embargo was lifted quite early though wasn't it?

I think it was lifted at the premiere maybe, he reactions were pretty good so there was no harm in lifting them early.

Let's be honest this film will probably be a turkey I just want to see some good reviews for financial reflection. The Greatest Showman has mediocre reviews and still went on to become a hit with audiences though it's all about word of mouth.

The advanced previews are a good sign to be honest I didn't see many of those for Justice League and A Wrinkle in Time.
