Getting in touch with your past can be really harmful, even if you're over it, it can still severely and potentially create deeper wounds than the ones already there.

So in the spirit of Halloween I went to an infamous house where a family was murdered by a man with an ax. It was pretty cool! Crazy how the killer was ever caught. I got lots of pics but no “Oh man, that’s some ghostly stuff!” since it’s apparently haunted by.. spirits I guess? Some people are reportedly scratched. They have pictures as well on display of them.
Anyway, it was creepy being in the attic alone where the killer was said to hide out until the family went to sleep, and he left and murdered everyone, closed the curtains and blinds, locked the doors, and disappeared into the night. Current Mood: Gettin Spooky |

Doing something new with Chili. I'm adding a dash of sugar. I read the sugar can help bring out the sweetness of the Chili's so I added about 4 tea spoons of it and it taste delicious. My family don't know I changed up the recipe we normally used a bit. Will hear their reviews soon.
I generally discovered I really enjoy cooking. Maybe I'll try home cooking as a new hobby when I have time. Heck maybe I should take some cooking classes too. |

Not too good. I just got a cold or something today, and I feel like my face was beat up.

Sad, I’ve just read earlier that actress Leah Bracknell has died at 55.
I remember growing up and watching her excellent portrayal of lesbian and mental health sufferer Zoe on Emmerdale. In retrospect she was probably my first exposure to homosexuality and let me know that the feelings I had for people of the same sex weren’t wrong. Very sad. Tremendous actress |

Frustrated. People are idiots, complete idiots...I can't even.
Not anything to do with this forum, I've been watching a gameshow called "the circle" where players live seperately in a block of flats and can only communicate through a specially designed social networking device called the circle. The aim of the game is to become the most popular and avoid being blocked. The twist is, you don't have to be yourself, you can be anybody you want as you setup your own profile and aim to get the most votes. So basically players are allowed to be fake, they're allowed to manipulate other players to vote for them. There's a lot of catfishes in the game which is allowed. The prize is 100K, so players are allowed to lie or be honest to win. The only place I draw the line on lying is about an illness. It would be completely wrong to fake an illness. But gender, sexuality, interests, family etc.. Are all fine to lie about. What really frustrates me is that the general viewing public don't seem to understand how this show works and that players are allowed to be fake. I've seen some awful tweets on twitter about certain players who are "playing the game". I'm gobsmacked at how dumb people are. IT'S A GAME Show! The whole point is that they're allowed to be fake! Needed to vent. |

Kind of regretful. I had a Backloggery account a while back, and I had deleted it. Created me another one, and gonna add some games.
The Backloggery is a site where you can upload your video game collection, if anyone's interested. |

Surprised, family got a new dog from the shelter. Apparently someone found a stray dog in our area and turned him into the shelter. The shelter cleaned him up and gave him medicine to treat parasites he had. Then they put him up for adoption and my family adopted him just before some one else was. He's a 3 year old terrier and he is just amazing. At first he was very shy at first, but I sit with him for a while and now he follows me everywhere. He is definitely a people person, he is so cute.
