I had no idea what you meant by "I am Batman" and it seemed off-context, but that reminded me of a gag on How It Should Have Ended (HISHE) on YouTube, where Batman and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy go on for a solid minute saying to each other "I'm Batman!" and "I'm Groot!", that's why I said that...

I think Joe communicates pretty well in blog/video format, it's just that Jeffrey can be a little oblique at times.
