Wink Tomb Raider 3 HD Remaster

The purpose is to improve everything possible in the game, from the textures to the lightning, even adding new assets to help improve the immersion. It is a complete overhul that will bring this old classic to the new generation. I can't add real time shadows, reflections and all this fancy things that is commun on the games today, due to the restrictions of the game's engine. But expect nothing more than the best version to the game yet! With high resolution textures, better lighting and effects and new remade songs by Dean Kopri.

HOW IT WORKS?

You should own the PC game. This Mod doesn't work with any other version, only PC. The remaster works by using a Patch (written by Peixoto) that allow some old games, including Tomb Raider series to run in widescreen and you can enable a feature to swap the textures of the game in the computer memory to the high definition textures.

That looks stunning! I love how accurate, yet beautiful it is. Looking forward to seeing more.

Very nice! Looking forward to seeing more! (Any chance Lara and her equipment will be HD too? The new plants look amazing)

Thank you Craig! They will be! It is very hard to remade the charcaters because the original textures is a real mess... but I'll try my best!

Some textures could use a bit of contrast and color, otherwise it ends up coming off as a bit flat and faded looking compared to the originals. The water textures do look alot nicer, however.

I agree with you! The contrast is too low on the new textures! I'll fix this in the next revision. Thanks for the feedback!

The original is always the best IMO but I like some of the new textures you made. Can you make them available for use with the level editor for custom levels?
