I'll say one thing though: it seems you're struggling with gaming in general, so maybe the gaming is no longer your groove? I don't understand why people invest so much time into something they clearly don't enjoy instead of moving to greener pastures. Life is short. Don't waste it on stuff which doesn't appease you. Living in constant grudge is a waste

Am I the only one surprised that this went through earlier than anticipated? Wasn't it scheduled for like October?

Hopefully we hear something about TR soon

Nah. They've said it would be finished in the July-September quarter. We're at the end of August, so there would only be one more month left

So there’s still future Avengers games coming out after it being a 75million dollar flop? Classic remasters and remakes should have a place in the future then.

Was Avengers exclusively responsible for the losses they were posting? I was under the impression that TR was part of the problem as well.

No, it wasn't. SE never stated Avengers lost them 75M alone. SE stated that they amortize development costs of their games over the months following release - Final Fantasy VII Remake released in March that year, and that report was about the July-September quarters (with Avengers releasing in the last month of that quarter, and FF amortization happening in that quarter).

In the meantime a lot of water has rolled under the bridge, and the game reached profit (as confirmed by one of the devs recently, who also confirmed the game has plans for 2023 and beyond)

TRL was going to continue off AOD until nasty Toby Gard came along. I still have some hope in CD. I'm going to act as if all the recent leaks have been discarded and they're starting from a clean slate.
