Something you can experience live

But really it's a big escape game you can play as a team of Lara's students.

I have been there. It was very un-TR specific. It seemed like that was done so it could easily be re-branded as anything else.

Maybe because Lara take a back seat this time.
TR stuff in general is pretty generic it doesn't differ that much from Indiana Jones or Scrooge Mc Duck stories.

You make dissection videos of the history of TR and then say something as tacky and wrong as this?

I still think TR has the coolest depiction of Atlantis ever. Next to Atlantis The Lost Empire of course

But for a TOMB RAIDER LIVE EXPERIENCE it shouldn't be just "generic" stuff right? The theme is Tomb Raider. So they could have thrown in way more TR specific stuff.

Well I don't know If you have read a Scrooge Mc Duck adventure written by Don Rosa or Carl Barks but some are in the tone of Tomb Raider minus the modern aspect.

Globetrotting
Traps
Bad guys to defeat
Riddles to follow
Monsters to fight

It's not an insult at all. Those stories have nourished the imagination of a lot of peoples including Spielberg who later will use some of the comics as a reference to make the first Indy movie. No iconic boulder scene without Carl Barks.

The world build can be simple but work if you have a great character within.

I never said I find a Tomb Raider story to be groundbreaking they are pleasent to follow and engaging for me.

Like what ? For exemple ? What do you wanted to appear in it who can be easily made ?

More references to the classics doesn't count.
