That can't be recent. It looks like material from the late 2000s.
Underworld, Guardian of Light... those years.

Btw yeah, I'd reject it too. She's too puffy up there, even for LAU Lara.

And yes, lance, he's most likely talking about CD, more specifically, TR's brand managers as he states in a reply.
In their defense the look is very "come hither" in the face, but I know their asses bunched their panties over boob size, so I'm still on THE Adam Hughes side all the way. His historic version of Lara lives in my mind daily rent free.

Based on Lara's outfit, it's one of the newer Lara Croft comics that are based on TOO and GOL. So I reckon it's quite recent.

It's anything before 2018. As the tweet was posted in 2018.

"Too" sexy. Good grief. Political correctness gone mad.

A brand manager wouldn't say that unless they were told what they wanted directly by CD though.

So if anything it seems like it's CD that thinks this is "too sexy".

Now that Square Enix is gone and Embracer is off-hands, CD's next game will be a chance to show what they really want the future of TR to be. If they don't listen to what the fans want then no one else other than CD can be blamed. Maybe they just don't care.

Reminds me of the SW sequel trilogy where the people in charge of creating it had a "what fans want doesn't matter, we do what we want" type of attitude.

Honestly it's not his best work the face doesn't really scream Lara and the body proportions seems off. Even the expression doesn't match the tone.

I remember to have buyed the two Frozen Omens tomes reading them once and never read them again.

The story wasn't engaging for me.

It's funny. I just searched up that comic and saw the covers. Her hands are thinner, she's showing no abs, has normal legs.

In the one that was deemed "too sexy" she has her abs showing under her shirt, has thick legs and generally looks a bit wider and like someone who is straining herself constantly with physical exercise.

In the official ones she looks like a model (not that I dislike it mind you).

So what's the actual problem here? Is it just her boobs? Is that the only thing? Why do Californians hate boobs so much?

Because if anything, the official covers are more of what would be generally accepted as the standard female beauty, you know, the model looking thin girl? Isn't that what progressives are trying to get away from?

So what's going on here? Can you make up your mind America? Please?

I saw that tweet come up on my timeline yesterday. I didn't even see it was from 2018. Who digs up tweets from 4 years ago? The version they went with for the comics is better, imo.

Two tomes? I thought there was only 1 volume of 5 issues, was there more?
