I don't miss twitter just like I don't miss facebook.

The only people interested in what nobodies have to say are those who will look you up sometime in the future because you stomped on the wrong foot.
Stop posting personal stuff online, be that opinions, interests, places you go, things you do.
But if you do, avoid linking it to any aspect of your IRL.

With the exception of content of creative nature, no one cares

If this guy behaviour hasn't changed since and are doing faults recently while doing his job, then I support Crystal's decision.
I agree!

No, this was years ago.

Well in this case it wasn't even on full display because you wouldn't find it unless you went looking for it. But also, I'd argue if these controversial opinions were left leaning he'd be absolutely fine lol

I know he was probably forced to apologise, but I never see the point in doing that because there's never any forgiveness. So it's meaningless.

Feeling the need to clarify that your opinions are your own, and that your retweets are not endorsements, in your Twitter bio, is profoundly corny to me. I think people who are not smart enough to not **** where they eat, probably shouldn't be on social media at all.

To be fair, the same goes for people who can't grasp that time marches on, and that whatever someone said in the past may not necessarily reflect on their character in the present day...

Still, like I said, if you're a dumb**** who puts your personal business out on your "professional" account, you've set yourself up for failure, and you really don't get to be mad about that.

Why do any of you care at all, anyway? I thought you all hated CD and everything they stand for. Them losing an employee is unfortunate for them as a company; you should be celebrating.

If you have actually changed then why wouldn't you just delete your old tweets? There are many apps that can go back and delete tons of old tweets.

The way that I semi-recently deleted my YouTube comment history from like 2006 up until 2012. I have never felt more in control of my own narrative.

If they're going to be firing people coz of problematic posts, then everyone involved in trying to tarnish CLaras reputation should be fired as well with all their sexist and misogynist rhetoric.

So what they're currently doing is not good enough. Where have I heard this before...

In all seriousness, I agree that much of what CD has said, especially in the lead-up to TR2013's release, has been in poor taste. Most likely, none of it would fly if it was said today.

Different time, though, wasn't it? Pop feminism in 2012 was a whole other thing compared to the pop feminism of 2022.

That's no excuse, but it is something to keep in mind. You are entitled to find their apparent 180 on the subject of Classic Lara to be insincere, all the same.

Classic Lara is a fictional character. Brian was talking about real and breathing people. There's a difference.

Obviously, but either way there's a message being sent. Same thing when people were freaking the **** out about Aloy having "facial hair," lmao.

People weren't bringing that up because it was a thought experiment, it was because they'd never seen a woman (or any human at all, apparently) up close before - and we all know from morning cartoons that hair anywhere other than on your head is male-only, so obviously, the photorealistic peach fuzz was a psy-op they felt the noble need to call out.

How do you delete them? Do you have to do it one by one? My god I used to be such a troll and a rude person back then. I'd love to delete all my old YouTube comments.
