it already bombed. More people are interested in Cyberpunk than that failed project. Time to move on to bigger and better things (LC:TR)

I don't expect the release to happen for a couple of years, but I would expect some news next year sometime.

My heart says reveal in early 2022, my brain says teaser in late 2023.

If they did a 1st teaser late 2023, I would expect some major difference to the game, not just an upgrade but something substantially different across the board - completey rejigged in key areas.

I suppose some of it (timescales) will depend on how significant the changes from old gen to new gen will be.

Maybe 2022 is when get the first few details as to what the game is going to be about. The actual game part would take a longer time.
Which I don't mind tbh. Most of my gripes with the reboot games come from the short development cycles.

I don't mind them taking their time too. This a critical time, moving to a new gen, they need to do something special. I can't wait to see what they do.

Yeah, I'm expecting another TRU-TR2013 kind of gap, to be honest.

We're probably not getting anything whatsoever until 2023, or at least not anything substantial.

I could see them maybe putting out vague teasers - like, one later this year, and another one at E3 next year - but nothing more than that.

And, by vague teasers, I mean like, a promotional image of Lara's silhouette for Christmas (incredibly unhelpful

), and for E3 2022, a trailer no longer or more informative than this.

I just hope, similar to Shadow, that once they actually reveal the game, its release won't be far off.
