@ Anja:
Not sure if it is related to your issue but if you are using Vista or Win7 it is best to install TRNG in "My documents".

Hmmm, you followed the XP installation?
Because at some point you can choose quick XP installation, or whatever it is called.

It sounds familiar...
I think I had the same issue once but I can't for the life of me remember how I fixed it...

I remember moving files around because they ended up in another folder or something but I can't remember where they ended up.

I looked trough some older threads from here, and it seemed that a lot of people had the problem. However I can't find an exact solution.

You can use a DiagnosticType Script command to decrease the amount of the diagnostic texts on the screen, but that's not what point is. The point is to print on the screen the difference values between Lara coordinates and the coordinates of the ladder - these difference values are that Testositions use:

TestPosition= IdTestPosition, Flags (TPOS_...), Slot Moveable, XDistanceMin, XDistanceMax, YDistanceMin, YDistanceMax, ZDistanceMin, ZDistanceMax, HOrientDiffMin, HOrientDiffMax, VOrientDiffMin, VOrientDiffMax, ROrientDiffMin, ROrientDiffMax

I mean, you also need a LogItem Script command, with a FLI_SHOW_DIFFERENCES flag. Build the script and start the game. See the yellow values WHEN THE DISTANCE AND ANGLE BETWEEN LARA AND THE LADDER IS THE PROPER ONE. You need these ones this time: Dif X/Y/Z, H/V/ROrientDif. For example, Dif X is 677 now (Value 1=1/1024 square), but TestPosition will use it with a tolerance. For example you say this tolerance is +/-200 now, so your XDistanceMin in TestPosition is 677-200=477 and your XDistanceMax in TestPosition is 677+200=877.

Oh. It appears I muddled up the script commands a bit by accident! Whoops! Silly me. Fixed it now, and it works fine!

Hey there. I couldn't resist and I thrown BTB Steampunk stuff into a fresh installation of TRNG. The font got messed up:

The font of main menu is good, only the level text is impossible to read.
I tried to restore a default font.pc and the problem was solved, but not the way I wanted: I wish to use the same font which is provided with Steampunk stuff, but the package contains no font.pc file and I can't get the clue what I am exactly missing. Could You please tell me?
