It's not that they hate classic Lara. They make money of her without having to spent anything on creating it or something like that (obviously). But there is probably more to it than we know, they have to pay for publishing rights or something - to get their game on steam. Steam is not a free service for them. There's also the administration which they probably see as a hassle. Since Lost Artifact is a spin-off and since not many people know about the game, it might not be profitable enough for them.

Honestly they don't care at all about this game. It's been abandoned for many years, I don't think anyone will care if we were allowed to share the game files.

Justin, any news or insight in this? It won't be long before getting even a disk of this game will be virtually impossible. Especially with technology going diskless.

We should provide a way for people to get the files and if anyone has a problem with it then let them say they have it and we could go from there.

But we need the green light first. It doesn't even need to be hosted on TRF if anyone is worried about copy right, like I said, I don't think anyone even cares.

Nice, honestly we should just be allowed to host it at this point. No one corporately cares about it and if they did we could just take them down easily. This game is going to disappear sooner or later if the files aren't preserved in some way.

Disks aren't going to run forever and there are only so many of them.

I agree. Although I doubt the game would just be lost. Legally, sure. But the files do exist on the internet, and anyone with a working disc can rip it to preserve the files (I already have with mine) so..
But I agree there should be a legal way to get the game digitally..

Thought I would share my opinion.

This game does need a digital release. Although ripping the CD would be nice to preserve it, this is actually illegal in the UK. So UK residents are stuck there.

Just looked and found only 4 copies for sale. Glad I got a big box copy

If anything lmao it's literally nothing, you're ripping a disc for yourself, to preserve the physical disc.

Is the disc actually rare? I own a copy of Lost Artifact in some blue case. I remember it had some funky first person mini game bundled with it too.
