Default Crash to desktop in windows 10

I can't play any classic Tomb Raider on my PC, both tr4 and tr5 and trle, steam version, gog version. After fmv, loading bar the game crash to desktop, sometimes with directx error. I tried dgvodoo dlls, many configurations and nothing. Works only when I DISABLE SOUND DEVICE in the setup. I tried too play without sound driver or with nvidia sound, but without success. Works only when I DISABLE SOUND DEVICE in the setup. Has it happened to anyone? How to solve? I playing in windows 10.

Which version of dgVoodoo did you try? I figured out that the latest version doesn't work as great as the previous ones. I suggest trying version 2.55.4.1 (no idea about later versions as I don't try every new version that comes out as long as I don't encounter any problems).

Sometimes it helps to disable (or reduce) sound hardware acceleration in windows.

See this link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...nd-src-sliders

Have you tried the tomb raider multipatcher for Windows 10?

Download link: HERE

Instructions: Right click the file > properties > compatibility > check run this program in compatibility mode for: > select Windows Vista (doesn't matter which version) and finally run the multipatcher.
