You could push LIS1 into a full on L love triangle if you wanted to (I think it didn't even go far enough)... and even so, the most egregious term people would use to describe the game was "hipster". Max was just a nerd, everyone else was just a teenager, Chloe's stepdad was just a douche, Rachel was just an angel, Chloe herself was the capital L of the bunch yeah but that was about it. This new game however seems to specifically target a very specific audience because of the way the protagonist looks. People nowadays love to say "but the prot's appearance doesn't matter" bs, it does: it's the business card, the n°1 marketing tool you have, the filter. Just by looking at this girl you can draw her full profile and even place her on the political compass, whilst Max was just a nerd. I'll push the concept even further by saying that I think that this studio (just like the makers of LIS2) didn't understand why LIS1 did so well. Last edited by killchan; 15-06-21 at 15:15. |

I would have liked to have had Cassidy be in the game more than she was, she has a great singing voice of everyone in Cassidy's group she's the one I like the most. The three biggest mistakes they made with LIS2, 1 killing Mushroom it just wasn't necessary IMO, 2 the long release schedule between episodes was way too long and 3 not having all 5 episodes on the disc, releasing the final episode digitally was a stupid thing to do. It's even more stupid when you take into account that the PlayStation store on PS3, PS Vita and PSP was almost permanently closed, I know that the PlayStation store on PSP is gone for good. If everything goes digital only and those digital store's are eventually closed a lot of great games will be gone forever, almost permanently losing access to the PS1 classics on PS3 was a scary thought even more so given the disaster that is the PlayStation Classic. What Sony should have done is release a PlayStation Classic that can play disc based games, I still have my PS1 games and demo discs and would like to play them again, I still have my original 60GB PS3 which I could use to play my PS1 games but I can't be bothered switching HDMI leads for the PS3 and PS4 every time I want to use either one. They should do the same for a classic PS2 if they ever make one, after the reception that the PlayStation Classic got I don't think they will bother making one. |

LiS2 was the sloppiest writing I've seen in a while. Answer me this, why did Sean take Daniel and run away at the start? There was a big explosion, there was a freaking car flipped over, a cop car no less with a dash cam that captured the whole event as it happened. Are you seriously telling me anyone would believe a little kid did that and put either of them away? No, they wouldn't. They have grandparents who they are more than aware of because they go and stay with during the game, so even if social services got involved because their dad died why would they be split up exactly? That's just the start of the story, when the beginning is that lazily slapped together you're in for a bad ride, and a bad ride it was. I'm glad Deck Nine are doing True Colours because if it was Dontnod I'd be very wary of it being worthwhile. Tell Me Why went a ways to redeeming them but not far enough to undo the absolute trash heap that was LiS2.

But we still don't know much about True Colors. It could end up being a mess
OG LiS and Dontnod will always have a special place in my heart. |

Dang they really don’t want to acknowledge LiS 2 at all. Bit awkward it’s being ignored for the switch port

I wonder what happened to Ingrid and Anders after episode 3, the other drifters are mentioned after episode 3 just not Ingrid and Anders. Daniel was occasionally the most irritating character, trying to get him to tell Chris the truth was impossible, on 2 occasions I thought that I had succeeded in convincing him to tell Chris the truth but he didn't I gave up trying to convince Daniel to tell the truth after the second attempt. The most irritating character is the cult leader in Haven Point, she deserved her fate whether it be dead or left alive having lost everything and watching her church burn to the ground. |

Kinda can't believe that SE is asking 40$/EUR for Remastered Collection and 60 for True Colors. Imo. it's too much. Remastered Collection changes are just too minimal and not worthy to be called a "remaster".
