What would you think about allowing the users to give 1$ donations to builders?
For example putting a Ko-Fi (or similar services) links on trsearch items and trle.net levels, or also here for plugins, detailed tutorials etc...
Not invadent, just a facultative button that is somewhere "just in case".
It would be also perfectly legal... Unless if donations are requested aprioristically to make something, that would be unfair and illegal.
And that a minor percentage on the total donations (like 5%) would automatically go to the respective website's maintenance.

that's sensitive issue of sorts

You are right that getting money for digital items themselves would be wrong and not legal, while receiving donations as a person is OK, but I suspect there could be less interest in making donations than worth the effort of implementing the functionality on those sites.

moreover, I don't think TRF would ever allow any donation seeking for various reason, mainly the risk of scams and the still-dubious nature of getting money in exchange for creative activity in a fan community - the latter one especially, as this place has a good relationship with the Square Enix the distributor and won't allow anything that could cause any issues or strains.

TRLE.net and TRSearch.org are a different story, with TRSearch probably being the most probable candidate to implement donation module, that site has a new CMS and implementing a donation module might be easiest for them of all TRLE-related websites

@dinne Iíve always wondered why the various TRLE sites have no option to donate. Donating directly to creators would be awesome, too. The only issue I foresee is no one actually doing it. Maybe Iím wrong, but I wouldnít expect people to give money to sites/creators when they never have in the past.

Fun fact (or not, you be the judge): Core actually planned the ability to roll in air while sidejumping in their code. Maybe they planned to do add such a move eventually. They just didn't have the animations, but if you add a StateChange using StateID 68 to your sideways jump animations (like the rolls for jump forward and jump backward), it will work. I mean, pressing left while jumping right will trigger the animation you've linked, and vice-versa (they didn't plan this for the Roll key). Yes, I bothered checking that.
