No rope poles

There are no rope handles to shoot at and pull to open the pool/blood brick block.

The rope pull is simply not their.

Ideas?

I'm assuming this is the challenge tomb Path of Battle? If it is, that rope spot is used after you've completed the challenge.

To do this head into the machine jumping over the arms to get to either the left or right side where you can jump to the path that encircles the room. Walk through the obstacle course to the opposite side of the room where you'll find a lever. Pulling it will retract the arms and start a timer. Quickly move through the obstacle course on either side and push the lever in after doing so to retract the first set of arms permanently. Repeat this process for the other obstacle course and lever, after which you'll be able to start climbing the broken remnants of the machine.

It is the Path of the Serpent Twin Pillars puzzle.

I just started a new game - same problem.

Second new game - same problem.

Third new number- it worked.
