I started watching BBC or other European news channels since they cover a variety of news stories around the world both good and bad. Helps me to stay informed but not get so burnt out on it.

Today I had my first real work experience and it went well. I was really nervous before, but everything went smoothly. Today was just a test run though, I have a couple of more test runs before my job coach and I put in applications for permanent employment.

I actually liked the job I did today, answering the phone, sorting paperwork, greeting people as they walked in. After today I'm actually more excited to work because I get to have time away from home and my family and get to focus my mind on other things.
