How to make swinging pot burning (TR3)
Hello Raiders!
I'm coming here with a short tutorial about how to make swinging pot trap from TR3 burning. I suppose a lot of classic engine builders don't know how to do this. The setup is very easy, after you place the swinging pot trap, before you put the trigger you need to write in the timer box number 1 and that's it your swinging pot is working as it should. This works on both Tomb Editor and Dxtre3d. I hope this short tutorial will be useful for some builders. |

Sounds interesting. Does this also work in TRLE? If yes, in which TR3 level can the swinging pot be found? And into which slot can it be inserted into the TR4 WAD?

I suppose it should work in TRLE but you need to create a script for it. However I will not help you with this you need to ask if there is possbility to make it work on Next Generation Level Editor section. I'm not really famillar with TR4/TRNG engine, I know some basic scripting but not complex setups for traps, objects and etc. I'm sorry, I am more famillar with classic engines. I hope people from NGLE will help you. |

Thank you very much for the clarification. I am using TREP, so probably it won't work. Anyway, I think I'll simply try it and see what happens.

I'm sure that it works with TRNG's Addeffect= command
