"Ex Machina" are credited to have produced TRC FMVs, but I cannot find any online presence. It just comes up with that bloody 2014 film. I was hoping against hope that they might have archived higher res FMVs.

Good thinking Seth! I've actually just been wondering these last few days about this. The TR5 FMVs are notably lower quality than the other games, even at the same resolution as TR4s, i think they supplied a higher bitrate.
There were however a beta (or two), and a few resource disks released - I wonder if any of these could help. There are also multiple foreign releases. I'll have a look around ![]()

Resource discs? That could turn out good results. Please keep us posted.

Yeah - theres a very obscure website that shows all side-TR releases - actual just burnt disks from the devs with marker writing on it - that kind of thing. Things that have been sold on ebay etc and reuploaded

I’m not sure if you want HD remastered FMVs or just the original FMVs running higher than 640 * 480. But anyway, if you do want to run the original FMVs in 1920 * 1080 or whatever other resolution you want - you can use dgVoodoo2. It works perfectly for Tomb Raider 4 & 5 but doesn’t deinterlace the FMVs in 2 & 3.

I'd be interested in acquiring the highest available resolution or versions with the best picture quality. I'd then touch it up in any way possible, upscale to 1440x1080 and use frame interpolation to increase the framerate.
