Live footage of Mars Landing
Today, The Rover will be landing on Mars roughly at 3:55 p.m. Eastern time. That's 9 PM in UK time.

Nasa done it again, Rover has landed safety on Mars as I typing.
Its has been a blast watching for five hours of live streaming

I just switched it on after it had landed and saw them switch on the camera for the first image. Thrilling to think this is on another planet. Congratulations to them and the other probes (India and UAE) that are there in orbit (I think) also.
I wish they were able to have a camera running from lift off to landing, rotating so we could slowly see the Earth disappearing and Mars appearing over 2 years. Followed by an epic positioning into orbit and then flight to the surface.

Every time I hear of Mars landings, I wish they would land in Cydonia and explore that area, as that's where all the interesting and unusual landmarks are, like the face on mars, the city, the pyramid, the bastion, the spiral mound and the wall. These are all in one area that could possibly have been built or sculptured by an ancient alien civilisation before Mars became uninhabitable, and a ground exploring robot being there and exploring up close and personal, could prove it once and for all, if it is alien artefacts or just very coincidental geography. It would be the most dramatic change to our history of our solar system, if we found out we are not alone. I just cannot figure out why NASA cannot explore and prove it one way or the other, as the technology is there for close exploration.

^It might be difficult to land there for some reason?
Accepting that none of us know for certain, what's your view on it, do you think it's something genuinely mysterious or just accidental alignments that look more significant than they are?

But that's why I want a rover to investigate on the ground to prove it one way or another. Mars is not the only planet with possible artefacts, as when you look at moon pictures, there is the shard, a one mile high tower, I would love to know if that's a geological feature or not. These are just a few of the mysterious objects spotted from space photographs, that need further investigation.
