Hey all!
I’m just posting some progress on the texture I’ve been working on, still gotta map out how they’ll lay onto the meshes! Heavily inspired by the Anita Dongre Fall/Winter line, I’m aiming for a more mystical/fantasy feel. This is my first outfit! I’ll post more as progress comes (slowly, I know myself lol) but I plan on including a new weapon set and pick ups as well! |

Actually this is just a modification
Outfits by Trangel (the body is Aviatrix from TR 2013 and the face from Lara TR Legend) Braid by Axelia I wanted to inspire Lara with Chloe Frazer's winter outfit from Uncharted 2 I will use this in my new level that will be set in Nepal. Thread resurrection!
I got inspired to finish my jointed TR2 outfit after Raider99 released his version (looks great, btw!!), but then I started messing around with the TR1 model...and I got to thinking, how many extra polys could I add while still retaining the low poly TR1 look? Obviously WIP, but I literally spent all my free time this afternoon working on it, so I have to share. Thoughts? I think she still looks convincingly TR1 like, even with the changes. Just subtly upgraded. Now, I was going to keep the triangle "assets," but I just couldn't leave them that way after I made her waist truly round. Except now I'm not sure if I should make them a bit sharper, for old time nostalgia, or just go all in on rounding them out.
Right now it has mostly TR2 textures because that was the base I used, but I'm thinking I'll switch most of the textures back to TR1. And here's a gif that shows the original TR1 torso, TR2 torso (my jointed edit) and then this new hybrid thing I'm working on. |
