A new update is online
If you have a digital version you now also need to download the multipatch. This new update added: - Faster texture replacements - A new (very simple, nothing too fancy) underwater distortion effect (optional) - An option to show the inventory as an overlay over the paused game screen (similar to the other games) |

^ How do you mean @noname? It is the same as the previous versions.
Also, just tested the new versiom, and I encontered a bug: when camera is actived underwater (e.g. showing a door opening at the end of 40 fathoms) the new underwater distortion FX will continue when the camera goes back to Lara. Pausing the game does not seem to fix this, only going back underwater and back to surface again. Also, I would like to request if it is possible to separete the water FX from the new pause menu screen freeze. This is just a matter of personal taste, but I prefer the old one and it would be nice to have option for both. And these are not really related but I thought there was no harm in asking anyway... The TRC.com multipatch fixes some things in the game but also breaks some others so it be nice if you could look into them in the next updates, if you don't mind of course -Before the patch, music could be played underwater normally but after it, music will only work if you pause the game and resume it seems. Also, in land, when you paused the game the music would continue playing normally in the menu, but after the patch the music CONTINUES to play, but it mutes while we have the menu is open, going back to normal only during gameplay. -Lara can no longer jump sideways and backwards in small spaces too, which was possible in the vanilla version too. |
