There will be 3 timelines. Sonya is probably in. Right after mk9 5 years later 10 years later and 25 years later. I have no idea how they are going to pull the nether-realm invasion. Maybe there will be bigger threats than Nether-realm this time around.

Of course she would. Girl is 10,000+ years old! Same goes for Tanya. Those Edenians are practically ageless.

Tekken did this with Nina Williams and her son, who is physically only 2 years younger than her, in Tekken 4 onwards and it is weird as they've never really touched on it in any big detail.
