A native port to Windows and other platforms for atleast TR1 is heavily needed though. No more unstable DosBox or other hacks (Glidos, TombATI) like Wrappers.

![]() There's a reason why there is a basically standard layout for game controls these days, you know. It makes it a lot easier for gamers to go from game to game, and stay fluid on the controls. Who the hell wants to switch to the arrow keys or the Numpad keys, because some developer wants to do it in "their special way"? Back before Windows became "THE" thing, there were lots of developers of business software that had all sorts of exotic keyboard shortcuts and odd menus and interfaces to get **** done, but they're gone, baby, gone, it's the standard Windows menu bar and tool bar these days, for just about everything. "W, A, S, D. These are the keys for you and me. Everything else is just poop and pee. It's all about the efficiency. Devs who ignore this will cease to be, and get pwned, like Core did by CD."

When it comes to console games though, honestly, I am over it with the standard control layouts for PS3/4 games. It's making so many games feel very un-creative and un-original in how they play. It almost feels like it's holding developers back from trying out really innovative new gameplay mechanics. It's incredibly stale.

I found this really weird Alison Carroll interview. The interviewer decided to have a little game of trivia with her and it got awkward fast.

What on earth made the interviewer think Alison would know the answers anyway? Were they trying to make her look bad, or...? Maybe they thought it would be 'fun' to test Lara Croft's knowledge, but Alison isn't Lara, she's a model representing Lara. Very awkward
