Default SOTTR's tomb wheel is similiar to a TR1's texture

As you can see, the wheel in the SOTTR's demo shown at E3, is very similiar to a texture in TR1, close to a secret.

So, I am assuming that, in this demo, Lara is in Peru, and not in Mexico. So, is the tsunami happening in Peru?

Can someone clear this to me? Melonie?

pretty sure the tsunami happens in mexico. it's just that the two areas share common cultural influences.

nice find btw!

They directly re-created it! It's beautiful!

Although... is that thing supposed to be Inca or Mesoamerican? I'd say it looks more Mayan/Aztec and appropriate for Mexico than Peru, but I might be wrong.

That's the first area, in Cozumel, Mexico.

But yeah, the similarity is a nice catch.

I've converted your images to links. Please keep them within the size limits of 1024x768 , thanks.

Such a good find! This makes me so much more excited. I love how much we are seeing similarities to classic TR <3

Such a great find. I think I faintly noticed it a little myself when rewatching the video. I love some similarities to the classics.

I went ahead and shrunk the pictures down so they are viable to include them in the post
