You're a hack for always retconing stuff you said as having been a joke.

Joking of course, I understood it was a joke considering your stance on those same topics

And now I'll return to my hiatus once again.

An entirely new cast and creative team.

These are good too.

Fair enough, but I hardly go on these forums to understand your banter.

I want a setting similar to Rise.
A snowy storm, snow slides, etc,,, will look awesome if they are done well.

However, I am not sure how engaging the next story is going to be.

Lara Croft after Anna and Trinity; definitely many Richard flashbacks.
She will rely on his researches again to hunt Trinity.

and I don't want to see any of this; but I am just being realistic.

They are not going to ditch the first movie plot and make a totally different movie now.

I just reread what I wrote. I wasn’t intending to sound snappy. Sorry. I was aiming for playfully cheeky. My bad.

A better, well developed story.

Dual Pistols should be top priority. (I will hate the movie if Lara has no Duals)
Anna as a villain or secondary villain.
More stylish action scenes
Braid and/or Long Ponytail, no loose hair please.
A much more compelling and ambitious story than that of it's predecesor.

I would love them to be a tad more ambitious and give the film an R rating with a smaller budget I feel like that would get people talking and allow them to make a more serious piece. It wouldn't exactly be alienating the audience either because the target demographic for the first film had it's major audience numbers from 25-30 year olds if I recall correctly.

Alternatively if they want to bring in a younger audience then a PG-13 film with more of an emphasis on effect heavy sequences and comedy would probably be the route to take. I'm hoping these film scenes become more like John Wick in terms of production cost and profits so we get a good franchise. I'm sure Warner Bros have a plan in place if they're pushing forward with a sequel.

Keep this Lara bc she is perfect.

Lou has to return, he can be her ally at least in some part of the journey somewhere.

Ana is obviously going to return bc of the setup at the end of first film so I hope to get an interesting dynamic between the two women.

Throw a good mystery filled with ancient puzzles in between and I am good xD
