Not that I don't appreciate what Murti did recently, but I agree the original notes occured far more interesting to me, mostly because they were "raw" and included a lot of experimenting, alternative ideas, movie/books references. There were also many different versions of the same storyline which perfectly show how the main plot has changed over time. I also loved how script-like they were. When I was writing basic story outline for TDR I even made it so my docs had same layout as Murti's because it just felt appropriate lol. As a historian I also found original notes more valuable as they were a direct insight into story development.

It doesn't matter what you prefer. What matters is respecting the author's wishes because after all, they are his property.

It also matters when the author shows respect for the wishes of his audience and cares not just about his ego.

Reading this thread throws up more questions than it does answers I'm more confused now than ever some of you say the project is still going then others say its dead what's going on then? I'm guessing its dead but I really don't know.
