Because Europe as a whole is a very socialist continent (more social-democrat, really) and we take consumer rights very seriously.

I assume the heat production will be less as well.
Curious if they'll manage to make a fanless model down the line.
I mean I have the launch model. I’m assuming the models released now will be the more efficient ones? So therefor I want one of those.

I'm glad they're being called out on it, as they're not addressing the issue as well as they should be IMO.

Nintendo is getting sued over the joysticks

https://engt.co/32N6dFk

They knew about the issues with the Joycon’s but couldn’t care less

And you are not wrong. They do not want to address it. Instead, they made a Switch mini to compensate. You can tell this is a strategy on their part because the mini replaced their ****ty analog stick with a directional pad.

Just to make this clear, I am not a fanboy or a hater to any console manufacturer. All have their flaws.

Seems that, in the US at least, Nintendo has had an internal memo to repair the drifting issues for free now.

Yup, they are also going to refund anyone who actually paid for a repair.

Why US though when this should be a worldwide thing

While the joy-con problem is worldwide, wasn't the "having to pay for repair" just a US thing? If so, it makes sense they are the ones changing their policies, as the other Nintendo branches already did that.

I could be wrong though, and if so, yeah, it should be worldwide
