Here's a few shots of my CAC entry - literally my first ever serious foray into building. Do I get to be proud of this?

We're using the same textures/objects for the CAC, so can't help but feel some friendly competition here! Really like your style though, definitely something to be proud of!

Well, after visiting Nepal and seeing how Hindu temples and shrines slowly "morph" into Buddhist temples and shrines, as you travel from South to North side, closer to Tibet, I can say that it's very interesting how culture slowly transitions from one to another. Or take Istanbul orthodox cathedrals which were converted to mosques, especially Hagia Sophia - there are traces of literally all european cultures there - Christian, Muslim, pagan, ancient Greece and so on... Moreover, I always found the idea of "mixing up" traditions mystical and explorable, obvious example in TR is st. Francis folly, where Christian, Nordic and ancient Greek culture all mix up in a twisted yet intriguing way.

This classic comp has really taken over the forum! Great work everyone.

@Reggie - since traditional Inca buildings often had thatched roofs, I wonder if a TR3 thatch texture from coastal ruins would work for the roof? It might be too dark though.

Looking nice.

Wow there's a ton of entries on this competition. Happy to see so many people still interested in classic TR.

These are looking awesome, though I actually think the waterfall textures from Temple of Xian would look much better as their tone is a slight green, that and the Egypt rock textures from TR1 were also reused in the same level on TR2, so it would combine well.

Currently working on a new levelset(shocking right?) to once again hone my skills and get something people will enjoy out in the wild, includes making my own objects instead of downloading them which is surprisingly going pretty well.

Though I kind of messed around with an enemy earlier and ... yeah...😂
