Or I wasn't being judgemental and just saying. In fact, the mention of those ports should really be here.

Still mega excited for this remake..
Recently replayed TR2 and still loved it as much as I did when I was 6 in 1997..

I'm asking out of curiosity.
Did you use HD Textures with iOS Textures or others?

Some are iOS, some are HD remakes that people made and uploaded on TRS and some edited by myself or others of existing textures.

Wow. Great news. I like Tomb Raider 1996 HD textures, which are on http://www.glidos.net/tombati.html and those from Tombraiderxtra
Sherlock, JC. Matthew are only at the Caves and City of Vilcabamba levels.

I miss just such HD textures in Tomb Raider 2, 3, The Lost Artifact, 4.
I have a Tomb Raider 4 HD package, but she has improved mainly the look of Lara and the textures themselves are less expressive than the texture HD to TR1.
This is especially visible when it comes to the picture, bookshelves or closer to the wall.

I have never managed to match texture iOs to Tomb Raider II.
I had AHK Injector package, Tomb2Fix and texture iOs.
I did everything as it should according to the instructions, but it did not load those textures. Perhaps it's Win 10 64 bit.
However, I have heard that these textures are more or less the middle of the game. They are not from Tibet.

The Lara Croft model in the "Tomb Raider Revised" and "Tomb Raider Anniversary II" designs is identical except in Tomb Raider IV HD.

I have been going through the whole series again recently.
I have already gone TR 2013, ROTR 2016,
Tomb Raider 2 remake of Nicobass demo,
TR Legend, Tr Anniversary, TR Underworld,
TR 1 with textures HD + Unfinished Business,
TR 2 + Golden Mask, TR 3 + The Lost Artifact.
I am currently in the process of going through TR 4 + HD.
The disadvantages of this part are actually mainly traveling between stages which is often annoying as well that Egypt is the only land in
the game except the prologue.
But the number of stages is impressive, but they are not as memorable as the best levels from TR1, TR2, TR3 and The Lost Artifact.
A big plus of TR 4 is also a large amount of innovation in the game.
Example:
new engine, new menu, newer Lara model, rods, posts, chains, ropes, opening doors and cabinets and
I'm not sure if this part or Chronicles has added the possibility of jumping when we hang in the slot.

The fact that in the "Tomb Raider II Revised" and "Tomb Raider Anniversary II" projects are innovations from the TR 3 and TR 4 tricks gives you great opportunities to process levels.
Almost like the brand new Tomb Raider II, but still the same.

Fingers crossed. I will play 100%.
I know that this is the first section for now:
Croft Manor, Great Wall, Venice, Bartoli's Hideout,
Opera House, Offshore Rig, Diving Area, but I think
that my jaw will fall off with an impression

My favorite levels in TR II are
Great Wall, Venice, Bartoli's Hideout, Opera House,
Wreck of Maria Doria, Living Quarters, The Deck,
Barkhang Monastery, Temple of Xian so there will be quite a lot of these locations that I love.

Thanks to such gifted people as
"Tombraider95" or "SrDanielPonces" one day we will play in a refreshed
Tomb Raider II.

Today I managed to get to Tomb Raider II mod TR II Remixed v3.0.
There are no HD textures, but many textures are corrected in the game.

I currently pass Tomb Raider IV The Last Revelation + HD (annl) and I really liked the levels from the section:
Valley of the Kings, Karnak, Alexandria and Giza,
but these Cairo tires a lot. It was better if they were not there, and the game would gain. The same in Tomb Raider III. If there were no weaker levels like High Security Compound, Area 51, Aldwych, City, and instead of them were the best locations from The Lost Artifact as
Highland Fling, Williard's Lair, Sleep with the Fishes to
Tomb Raider III would be a better game.
Of course, I love TR 3 and TR 4, but I like TR 1 and TR 2 more.
I note that I was with the series from the beginning.
Innovations in TR 4 are greater than in TR 2 and TR 3 .

In my opinion, the best levels of the entire Tomb Raider series are:
TR 1- City of Vilcabamba, Lost Valley, Tomb of Qualopec,
St. Francis' Folly, Colosseum, Palace Midas, Cistern,
City of Khamoon, Obelisk of Khamoon, Sanctuary of Scion.
TR 2 - Great Wall, Venice, Bartoli's Hideout, Opera House,
Wreck of Maria Doria, Living Quarters, The Deck,
Barkhang Monastery, Temple of Xian.
TR 3 - Jungle, Temple Ruins, River Ganges, Coastal Village,
Crash Site, Madubu Gorge, Thames Wharf, Lud's Gate,
Antarctica, RX-Tech Mines, Lost City of Tinnos
TR 3 The Lost Artefact - Highland Fling
Williard's Lair, Sleep with the Fishes.
TR 4 - many levels from the Valley of the Kings, Karnak, Alexandria and Giza sections

Later sequels did not make a big impression on me anymore.
But it was great to compare Anniversary to TR 1.

I hope that Tombraider95 will release the first TR II Revised section, but it will continue its great work on this refreshment. Stages in the depths with the Wreck Maria Doria have a very big potential like in Venice

~ Small Update ~

I recently got back from the one and only Venezia. (you could call it a late research trip lol) It was great seeing it for real after all the Venice levels I've done over the years haha I'd definitely build Venice differently if I was to do another.

Now I'm back, final testing can be finished and I'm hoping to have it out this month! (May)
