If you somehow make upscale for textures inside level file - it will work. External textures doesn't supported yet.

It's nice to see projects like this taking place.

Just a fun little fact I'll add to this thread about new projects being finished. The music is one thing that made Tomb Raider so popular, imo, as well.

They just finished recording "The original Tomb Raider music by Nathan McCree, extended and re-recorded with a live orchestra at Abbey Road Studios, London."

I was a backer: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...-raider-suite/

In the next 2 months they should start shipping some of the stuff.

I'm sure Nathan will have digital downloads for sales and so forth.
There are some real die hard Tomb Raider fans. This update Nathan on the project site made me smile, lol:

Quote:
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, under the steady hand of Robert Ziegler, performed to perfection. Their attention to detail was second to none. The expression, the phrasing and the emotion – it was all there.

The fans who attended were testament to that – the amount of tissues that were consumed – there wasn’t a dry eye in the place!
You can read more of it here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects.../posts/2024267

Oh yes, the orchestral tracks will go along nicely with OpenLara

Also, did you finally implement the feature I motivated you with on Twitter, with the blue glowing Save Crystals?

@Silverlok the problem is that Core splitted walls of rooms really badly, stretching a lot textures, the effect wasn't so bad with original textures, but using HQ ones would make the game look worse in this
Maybe on floor and ceiling could be better, but it should look good on everything

The game already looks amazing with HQ textures, especially Sillverlok's so I wouldn't worry too much.

Besides, the stretched textures will always look awful anyhow, HQ or not.

Are there any future plans to include HD textures, pixel shaders and bump mapping?

^If we're talking material upgrades, I'd love to see actual PBR get implemented at some point in the distant future. But for now, it's more important that the base functionality is there and everything's working without bugs and stuff .
