Everything Everywhere All at Once is a 2022 sci-fi action adventure movie about a Chinese American woman who is transported to parallel worlds to save the world.

Watched it on Film 4 last night, will likely be repeated again next week as Film 4 does on its UK TV channel.

It was a pure mad film, going totally over the top crazy with fast moving flickering scenes, interspersed with Chinese kung fu action.

Instead of the sign of the do-nut as in the film Independence day, it was instead the sign of the Bagel. You would have to watch it to understand LOL

This is why a lot of American buildings do not have a 13th floor, mainly down to superstition.

Whereas we do have 13th floors in the UK as superstition does not bother us (touch wood) , but our 13th floors in the UK are actually the 14th floor, as unlike America we do not count from the ground as being the first floor, but instead the 1st floor is the floor above the ground floor. so it goes ground floor, 1st floor etc. (OK we are nuts here in the UK )

Same here in South Africa. A three-storey building has a ground, first and second floor.

Fried Green Tomatoes (1991). Why did I just hear about this movie now? I enjoyed it so much! It gave me major Forrest Gump vibes and made me cry.

War of the Worlds on Prime.

So, this is a series we caught back when Direct TV had a free promo for a channel (Epic?) Somehow we found it, and it wasn't even at the beginning and we thought, oh, this is cool, but we aren't subscribing for one show especially if we can't start with the beginning.

So, now Prime has it, and we started at the beginning. It's very good. Only a couple of eps in but enjoying it very much.

I gave Star Trek Prodigy a chance, now I'm watching season 2. It's not to shabby for an animated show.

Doesn't Kate Mulgrew do one of the voices? I adore her and have from her Ryan's Hope days.
