Thanks for preserving all of these!

I've noticed the game got an update this week, haven't played it yet though so not sure what the update added (if anything ). Posting it just in case.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll look into it as soon as I can.
From a quick glance I see that there's no new update on iOS, and on my Android device there's no new update either.

But when I open the App Store in the browser I do see that there's an update from April 18th 2024, but the version number did not change. It's still v1.11.7074

I'll try to download that browser version and check the app ID to see if it differs from my latest one.

EDIT: Some browser APK downloader lists that the new update version is actually v1.12.8014

Mega and Internet Archive have been updated with v1.12.8014 (10921402).

I am not sure what are the actual changes in this version because the store only says "Minor fixes & improvements". The APK is ~10mb larger and has more files than the previous version. Maybe they fixed the music? I am not sure, someone else can test if they have the time.

From what I've checked there doesn't seem to be anything new really, music is still muted when playing and they didn't restore the log-in bonus thing either, I guess it was a compatibility update since all the bugs are still there. The way CDE doesn't seem to care about this game at all but still release updates that add absolutely nothing surprises me .

I am so confused by these updates honestly. Are they there to provide compatibility for newer Android versions? Are they under some sort of obligation to keep providing security updates for this game until some specific date when they'll just pull the plug?

The fact that they added cloud saving recently out of nowhere made me think they might do some bug fixes or even new content in the future but so far there's nothing.

I'm so confused as well I mean what's even the point of ensuring this game is still compatible with newer devices? Don't get me wrong I love this game and I'm happy it's still playable (well in a detrimental state though) but I don't think this game makes any profit anymore to justify paying a dev team to maintain it, feels like they're just wasting money. Most players stopped buying currency a long time ago since getting gems is easy by exploiting the boss fights, and I don't think anyone watches ads either since they are (thankfully) optional.
I'd be surprised if there were more than 50 people still playing this game on a regular basis nowadays.

The internet archive was updated to include the latest v1.12.8021 (10922102)
Mega.nz link has been removed as I am too lazy to keep that one updated too at the moment.

This version hasn't brought any changes in the game that I could see after a brief test. The music still fades away once you start the run.

Since DECA now officially maintains this game I asked their support team if they could provide a way to get the files for Tibet and Sahara levels for the older version of the app.

And they, more or less, refused to do so. So I guess that's it. What has been preserved so far is everything we're gonna get.

Unless someone has an old phone that they didn't use in years that has this game outdated. Which I doubt is the case for anyone.

That's a shame but at least plenty has already been preserved thanks to your efforts, I actually have been playing this game since it's release and still continue to do so today but unfortunately I don't have access to the files for the initial releases

I'm honestly not surprised that not even the devs have the files, this game has been abandoned long ago but they still continue to break stuff with every update, first the music and now with the lastest update there's a lot of texture flickering (on mountain pass at least, havent played the other locations yet). If you don't want to add anymore content don't but please don't break the game further
