Maria Doria would've been so much better, if human enemies would've appeared in the Deck Level only (I mean their Submarine was destroyed so)

Also I would've liked to have another foot step sound

That’s one factor for me.

This was one of my biggest issues, ever since I found out that the PS1 version of the game has ‘bare foot’ SFX in the Maria Doria levels, not the ‘thud thud’ boot SFX like the PC version......

I wish all versions got that bare foot sound, since that's more immersive tbh. Also Lara running around bare foot in general is just weird lol (looking at all that glass she walks though)

Only the PAL PSX versions btw. Which leads me to believe it was leftover. (And iirc The Deck doesn't have it in any version)

I'm assuming the dagger being stabbed through Marco's heart activated a portal to the floating islands for the ritual to be completed? So it was sort of a different dimension? But yeah, I never really thought about the floating islands leading back to the great wall, that's real odd indeed. But somehow, I think it's better that it wasn't explained, it was all the daggers magic probably, plus we already know Core wasn't too worried about story, and more about gameplay, so it's easier to excuse some of that nonsensical level design...sometimes.

I didn't even realize the PC didn't have the barefoot SFX.

The story in this game was terrible I didn't even know the guy in the plane and the guy chasing her by car through the snow were the same person, or even who the guy on the title screen was.

Really? It was really weird after TR1 having ‘bare foot’ SFX in the manor. And yeah, why did she took out her boots? To it throw it onto monk?

The story was ‘meh’ after TR1. But you didn’t know that the 3 men were the same? Must be the graphics’ difference.

What happened to the man that Bartoli punched in the plane? Fabio? Forgotten, I guess...
