Very amateur but I found a neat little android app called Gun Movie FX. I always wished the gunflash was enabled in TR2 cutscenes - I tried but crash. Good fun :-D

That looks great! I'd never noticed before that the gunflashes don't occur during cutscenes, but they definitely make this face-off look even better than before.

This is a lot of fun! The second one looks a lot more authentic to the classic gunfire

I put the gunflash item in the original cutscene and it didn't crash. How do you enable it, or is that just really well done video editing????

^I'd also mentioned that game crashed at my own try haha
Either way, you can't actually make it happen in game in the TR1 and TR2 engines. I've tried adding the GUNFLASH item and adding 'shoot' anim commands during the relevant key frames but it crashes the game. A 'force shoot' flipeffect musn't have been invented at that point yet. The app itself, is quite cool. Could be for iOS too. Frame by frame you can place your gun flash wherever you like. Would be perfect if it also showed an audio stream wavelength (so you can see sound-wise where the shot would be). I think this is the only TR cutscene in the entire franchise without gun flashes when needed...wish there was another! it's fun!
