It just dawned on me that I can play Lara Croft: Go now. Maybe I’ll try it out this weekend, I’ve heard good things about it.

It’s amazing! Along with Shadow, it’s probably the most classic TR-feeling game we’ve had for the past 8 years. The puzzles are really clever, the art design is absolutely lovely, and the music is so calm and relaxing, a really beautiful piece of work.

I highly recommend it if you can play it.

Agreed. I had a weird feeling in my gut after first playing it because I didn't really think the game was bad but it had a lot of disappointing parts. On a 2nd playthrough, I realized the game wasn't perfect but still really good.

Couldn't agree more. Lara Croft Go is an amazing game with some of the most atmospheric music I've heard.

We need some more interesting TR stuff to talk about around here. Maybe I’m the only one, but it feels incredibly stale and dead around here with little to no actual discussion, recently anyhow.

Yeah it's been pretty dead around here lately.

I'm not sure if this is normal for periods between game announcements. There was so much energy around here leading up to Shadow. I think it'll pick up significantly when we hear news of an upcoming game.

I hope so. It was (usually) a joy to read through the posts in the Shadow section, specifically back when it just got announced, but there hasn’t been much going on apart from the frequently active photo mode thread.

A new game should indeed get things going again, especially with it not being the end of a trilogy and hopefully having a whole new feel and look. I’m eagerly anticipating that.

Some might ignore the Artwork section, so I am sharing the link here.

I am working on High quality versions of all classic covers, feel free to print them or use anywhere.
