Default When did pre-shooting of the Floating Island statues stop working?

When Tomb Raider II first came out, at Floating Islands, you could fire 3 or 4 (depending on the statue type) grenades at the statues. If you fired too many, the game would crash, but fire just enough, and then it would take only one grenade to stop them once they were moving or airborne. This trick doesn't work anymore.

Cool Harpoons....

Use harpoons they still work. I noticed this on the Android version. Or hit them with the M-16 the second they animate.

If you play the PS1 version you can still kill them before they are triggered!
