No, it does not crash. You have to use it in the Command Prompt. Put both files in the same folder. Open the Command Prompt. To convert GMX.CLZ to GMX: type '(location of the folder)/GMXTool.exe -u (location of the folder)/.CLZ (file you wish to convert)', then to extract GMX to new folder: type '(location of the folder)/GMXTool.exe -e (location of the folder)/.GMX (file you wish to extract)'.

Do not panic, everything works, you just have to do things correctly.

I'd add that it is not necessary to use the -u option in gmxtool because option -e already includes it.

You can simply type: gmxtool -e paris1.gmx.clz
