Since he's a clone of 5 different men's DNA, I assume he's whatever they were. A couple of them were Russian, and at least one was Chinese. I don't know what race the other two were. Having said that, 47 looks nothing Asian. He's just a White guy from what I can tell

I played some levels and I'm just overwhelmed by how great this game is. Graphic wise, it's the best Hitman ever look. The checklist of trophy-like lists kept me replaying levels to acquire them. If you love Blood Money, you'll love this game imo.

The points system at the top left screen really kept me alert on my notoriety level, which is convenient. It gives me deep satisfaction whenever I got "Silent Assassin" ranking, where no one is aware of your existence and you leave no evidence whatsoever.

I was awed when I saw the China town level, it was so packed with people, with their own moveset and their mouth moves when they speak. Surely this requires high processing power? Amazing.

I don't get that some people perceive this game as being linear and simple. Are they playing the easy modes? Have they even finished the game? Bump it up to the hardest difficulty, there isn't any tips and enemies are harder to avoid/fight. Whatevs, their loss.

I'm glad you like it.

I've been reading a few opposing statements about it: Person A says it's too linear, Person B says there are huge sandbox levels and there is more freedom than the word "linear" suggests in the smaller levels. Person A says the disguise system is broken and makes the game too difficult, Person B says the disguise system is simply different and is better than the too-powerful disguises in Blood Money.

I'll see for myself when I pick it up this Saturday.

Exactly, try it for yourself.

And btw, I'm reading this novel at the moment. It's the official prequel to Absolution and it details out the story of Diana's betrayal towards the ICA (International Contract Agency). It was written by Raymond Benson, a James Bond novels author, and yes it's thrilling and action packed. Can't put it down.

My brother rented it and I am playing it now, will post my thoughts after the tutorial.

EDIT: I'm already bored with the game.

Sorry but then you're not playing it right, I understand if you don't like but it's definitely NOT boring. Use your creativity to take down your target and you'll see how fun it is.

I passed the entire hotel level and turned it off. I am pretty sure I am playing the game right, I've gone through every possible option to kill a person and all of them are tedious and boring so far.

It's cool you like the game, but I think I'll stick with the other Hitman games. Games I feel did the whole stealth better.

I hope I actually end up liking the game, whenever I happen to get it.

This whole year seems to be one gaming disappointment after another.
