I am pretty sure Emilia Clarke won't be getting considered for Lara. She was absolutely career ruiningly horrid in Terminator. A shame really as she had potential.

She looks nothing like reboot Lara. That I can agree with, but so do very few of the other actresses mentioned. And reboot Lara seems to change her look with each game anyway so I'm not even sure how important it is to match reboot Lara's looks anymore...
I'd say if they aren't gonna cast Camilla Luddington then they aren't gonna get an actress with reboot Lara's mannerism, voice and (roughly similar) look anyway. And if that's the case then they may just as well go with the best actress suited to play Lara and not reboot Lara in particular.
Gemma may be too old, but she's been a fan favourite to play Lara for years. I'm 100% confident she's the biggest name today that can actually pull off a proper Lara although I agree she's probably not the best suited to play reboot Lara if the games are to set the standard for that.

This! The most interesting and intriguing part of the story was left in the journals. It was a nice way of fleshing out the story, but that was the stuff that should've been in the main story :\ Lara should've told how she saved Sam in the past in the journals.
