Depending on what they want to do with the series they might hire Millie or someone young. Especially since they want to make a whole movie/series franchise going forward. This could mean that they might start with the rebooted games and work all their way to the classics. I still think that the best plan of action would have been to release CGI movies like the Resident Evil franchise, because there's no way in hell that any living female could make Lara justice. Especially classic Lara. It's just a fact. Angelina came close, but even she is just a normal woman. |

Millie ? She looks way too young for the part and the events are post-shadow, so Lara Croft must be in her 30's. It wouldn't work.

I feel like Daisy Edgar Jones is at a point in her career where she is only starting out but going on to achieve award recognition. Her career trajectory at the moment is not dissimilar to Alicia's at the point in her life and she will continue to be a rising start after her Emmy nomination.

I’ve said it forever, but Felicity Jones will always look like a perfect younger Lara for me.

What's Daisy Edgar Jones been in? She's not really giving me Lara vibes looks wise.

No offense, but I feel like atm any younger British or British sounding actress seems to be qualified to play the part in the minds of some people.
Let's not forget what Lara was supposed to be. ![]() Tough luck! This part requires an actress that is both beautiful and sexy or at least has some sex appeal. Lara is supposed to be this larger than life type of character. Exotic looks are kinda of a must. Even Alicia fit the part to some extent. Beauty and brains were always Lara's trademarks. I remember simping for Gemma Arterton or Peyton List as Lara back in the day. We need someone with striking looks imo. What about Emily Carey? She already played teen Lara. I mean it depends what kind of Lara they want to portray, but I feel that if the want to go for a younger version she would be a much better fit that Millie for example. If the series or movie is consistent with unification... Lara should be in her 30s (according to rumors, in the game they look for an Emily Blunt/Rosamund Pike profile)
