That depends on the emulator i think. Usually low level emulators are CPU intensive because they try to replicate every instruction and timing as accurately as possible, whereas high level emulators intercept calls and translate them to whatever API is desired, such as DirextX or Vulkan. Don't take my word for it though, it's been a while since i read about it.

I think the FPS can be unlocked in the games, but performance wasn't perfect for me either, it ran around 18-30 fps, on my new 5800X3D.

We're talking about the XBOX360 here, a very complex system. Even if the emulator isn't exactly accurate, that's still a lot of work for the CPU to handle.

I have Intel Core i3-10105F 3.70 GHz

You're right. Not to mention the PowerPC CPU on the Xbox 360, the Xenon, is big endian, so on top of translating PowerPC instructions to AMD64, it needs to also translate the endianness.

Pretty amazing considering Xenia is relatively new, yet it has come so far and will get even more optimised with time.
