I haven't played through TR3 properly in a long time. Standard playthroughs for me are a lot more difficult as I do the game without using any health packs and collecting all secrets.

And I thought I was going hardcore with the PS1 version

I take it you had to use the load trick to make that RX Tech mines swim. Is it even possible do do legit?

I've done TR1-TR3 while collecting all secrets and not using any health packs, but I'm yet to complete any of the later TR games without using health packs. The long swim at the end of RX-Tech Mines can be done without the save/reload glitch, and without using health packs, but it is very difficult. I tend to use the glitch, to make life easier.

Posted this in the purchase thread and forgot to mention it in an actual TR3 thread. I picked up this Japanese promo poster for TR3 recently, I've seen the render before but not this poster. Always fun to see some new stuff from the classic days!

TR3 was the first Tomb Raider game where I didn't play through the entire game- I level skipped over RX-Tech Mines and Lost City of Tinnos.

It's also the first TR game that I found a mixed bag- I liked the India, South Pacific (minus Madubu Gorge), and Nevada levels, but HATED the London levels and, from what I played of the Antarctica levels, didn't like those either.

Enix treated TR3 kindly merchandise wise! Even though Lara was still relatively unknown there

I can understand you skipping Lost City Of Tinnos; it's an absolute monster of a level, especially when it's your first time of doing the level. South Pacific is my least favourite section, Nevada is my favourite but I like London as well.
