Hmm, I liked the desert eagle it killed enemies pretty quick, the bazooka even though it was slow to load, it blew enemies apart nicely. I liked Lara's outfit in the Nevada levels. The boss battle against Sophia Lee + Willard the spider thing.

I believe that the Desert Eagle is the best gun when you consider its power and speed. I wasn't that keen on the Rocket Launcher due to its dodgy accuracy.

^ Huh, so it's a rocket launcher not a bazooka? You're right the aim is dodgy. Too bad they didn't bring back the M16 from TR2 I liked that gun better than the mp5

In the game, it's referred to as a Rocket Launcher. I also prefer the M16 to the MP5.

The MP5 has the advantage of taking aim on enemies from further away; with the MP5 you can shoot enemies from a greater distance than the other guns. This is also the case with the M16 in TR2. Because of this, I do quite admire the M16 and MP5, not to mention that they're two of the more powerful weapons when you account for how fast they are.

Which is fine; you have to use the guns that you personally want to use. There are some people who won't use anything other than the pistols.
