My personal prediction: they should just ditch realism and go full cartoon on everything, including Lara's character design. Which honestly, wouldn't even disagree with.

That is true, but for both sides. Twitter and any social media can be very big echo chambers and tend to lead you to basically just seeing stances you very much agree on.

The truth is most people either just mildly like or dislike anything or simply do not care.

She still has a D-cup, she just doesn't have the wasp waist she used to - because it is not graphically necessary in order to emphasize her bust anymore.

Which, if the game went full-on cartoony, they'd probably give her the waist back, so yeah. I'm sure that's where we're headed, @Portugalraider.

Sorry but this is another lie. The very WOKE opinions that plague social media (mainly Twitter) are not popular in real life.

Nor are the ultra-conservative ones that also plague social media. Only a fool would not see that any sort of extremism isn't relly popular.

But that being said, I don't see how "yeah, I think a statue representing a realistic take on an athletic fictional character looks like how real women with similar body types" is such a "woke" extremist stance to have, but that's me, I guess...

It is an actual WOKE take when you factor in all these years of game developers and gaming journalists (who are mostly male) trying too hard to appease to the female and PC gaming crowd but in the worst way. There was never complaints about female bodies in video games until non-gamers decided to get loud about it and have their voices heard. The result of all this screeching from those who don't even play video games outside of Nintendo? female characters having their feminine curves erased and replaced with a more straight-masculine look. Which isn't bad for new characters, but insulting for established characters like Lara Croft.

There's so many ways they could have gone with this statute and they just choose to make her look so unattractive, boring and unrecognizable. Sure hope this isn't a reflection of what Unification Lara looks like but if it is, there's plenty of fitness models who are strong and have a feminine physique. But, knowing CD, they're going to play it safe and just make her look like a boy for Woke points.

The thing about fancying yourself a whistleblower when it comes to "woke" versus "not woke" is that your sense of righteousness is inevitably going to fulfill itself.

You can take anything, and twist it to seem progressive or conservative, if you're willing to do the philosophical legwork to get there...

(it helps to have a small army of yes-men, which the internet is full of by nature, to encourage these circular lines of thought)

It's a hobby, for sure, but I wouldn't say it's a fun one.

Was this a different era or did you just forget you were a Melonie Mac cuck when you wrote this?

I wish Unified Lara Will be a blue haired high butch looking like an American trucker with double lesbian feminist axes instead of duals to stop this crying nonsense every two weeks.

Annoying AF, dont you have more tears for *lets check* holsters, necklace, backpack...??????

That was after I edited my post because I didn't want to start anything with my additional thoughts after my first post about the statue reveal. Well, my authentic views are spread around these couple of last posts.

If you are looking for cuck activity, look in the mirror. Always bending-backwards for Crystal.
