I agree but why even mention it in that case? Pretty sure most of us weren't even aware. Now you just opened Pandora's Box.

Nobody, so let's move on.

What does "too practical" mean, anyway? Where do you draw the line for that?

I kind of agree with @Valentino about the untucked shirt, though.

This is why the leotard is a smart design choice - it's both practical and does all the figure-hugging stuff you'd want for aesthetics.

Depends on the leotard, though. I do agree if we're talking a leotard like the one from the FMV, the in-game model for TRI, TRII and TRIII, and TRA. Those do look like they can arguably be a comfortable and practical way of keeping Lara's top clothing from possibly hinder her movements.

The leotard from in-game TLR and TRC does look a bit like it's giving Lara both a front and back wedgie, though...

It's a very nice statue.
But I wish the shirt was tucked in more. It looks overly long IMO

Also just seen there's outrage online because a certain female TR fan doesn't like the look of this TR statue. Who careeeesss. It's just her opinion. You'll are way too obsessed with her Certain people complain this fandom is "toxic" and then so easily will drag someone else online because they have a difference in opinion. Pot meet kettle.

It's just a statue.
and yet here you are bringing this up

So there's nothing to support this being any kind of reveal of what unified Lara is going to look like? It's just a statue they made?

Kind of felt like they might have been testing the waters or something

Hard to say, I want Lara to look prepared and experienced, but I wouldn't want her image to be visually displeasing. Lack of colour for example, or being too cluttered. I don't want them to worry too much about "would someone really wear that out adventuring?". It's just a game.

The fact that it was made under supervision from Crystal, and buzz was intentionally generated around it, when the same wasn't done to other statues from the Live Experience (there's a ToO statue and another one for 2013).

I mean she’s right: this unified Lara statue does make her look like “a dude”... or some sort of gender-neutral in-between person, lacking in femininity or charisma.

The video is actually pretty good because she goes into detail, giving examples, about how you could have a woman with an athletic and realistic physique that is still curvy - like Lara originally had.

I only wish Mel had called out Crystal’s odd design choices sooner. She used to be so gaga about it all.
