I really don't.

So many enemies would eventually get burned and extra damage was being done per turn. I loved it.

Can you remember which game it was?

It was one of the first 3.

If it was the first game then the fire Pokemon that you can start with is Charmander, who evolves into Charmeleon, who evolves into Charizard. In the second game it's Cyndaquil, who evolves into Quilava, who evolves into Typhlosion. In the third game it's Torchic, who evolves into Combusken, who evolves into Blaziken. So it would have been one of those Pokemon that you used, providing that the fire Pokemon that you used was one of the starting Pokemon and not one that you simply caught from the wild with a pokeball.

I honestly can't remember. The Pokemon are only tools in my desire to take over the world.

For me, the Pokemon are companions that assist me with earning badges. World domination is not an aim of mine.

The only battle games I've played were the Pokemon games. If I had to rank all the stats, they would be ranked as follows:

1.) Special Attack - Some of my favorite types in the game tend to lean towards this stat over Attack (Ice, Ghost, Psychic, and Water). It also seems that there are less Pokemon that have high Special Defense stats compared to high Defense. All of the cool moves are associated with this stat as well.

2.) Defense - Even though I prefer Sp Attack over Attack stats, it seems that a lot of trainers in the game prefer Pokemon that have higher Attack stats. Which is why I think having good defenses is important for in-game purposes. On the downside, a lot of the Defense specialists are pretty slow and have types with a lot of weaknesses (Rock and Steel).

3.) Attack - For some reason, I always felt this stat was pretty boring. But it's definitely an important stat nevertheless. You should always have a member or two on your team that specializes with this stat.

4.) Special Defense - Although I think this stat is important, there are very few Pokemon that I can recall that actually specialize in this stat. Most of them are either Legendaries or have bad typings. I don't think I ever had a member on my team that specialized in this stat?

5.) Speed - Most of the Pokemon that specialize in this stat are fragile and will die quite easily. There are a couple of exceptions like Weavile, Crobat, and Jolteon that have good stats in other areas. But I would rather have a more durable Pokemon on my team. On top of that, there are priority moves that can help your team if they're not fast.

6.) HP - I don't think I ever bothered with this stat? I don't really play competitive matches aside from the Battle Tower sometimes. I guess this stat is important against moves like Toxic. But I personally never cared for this stat.

The Pokemon with high special attack are often the overpowered types; psychic and ghost. Those are types which I think are worth having. It's just unfortunate when you go up against a dark type.

Rock and Steel Pokemon are both slow with high physical defence but only rock types have a lot of weaknesses; they have five whereas steel have three. However, Steel types have more resistances than any other type, which is a big advantage to have.

Fighting, rock, ground and dragon types tend to have the best physical attack. Although dragon types tend to have the best stats all around. I rate fighting types but don't have so much time for ground types as their special defence can often let them down.

The Pokemon with better special defence to physical defence tend to be psychic types and ghost types. What goes in their favour though is that ghosts are immune to both fighting and normal, whereas psychics are resistant to fighting. The reason why this is useful is because most fighting moves and normal moves do physical damage, but this is less of a threat to ghosts and psychics because of the resistances.

I believe that grass types and psychic types tend to have the best speed. I do like Pokemon to be fast but I wouldn't chose a grass type just because of its speed; grass have five weaknesses, and grass is the most resisted type. I'd only pick a grass type if it's paired with a 2nd nature which makes it a good Pokemon.

I don't really go for HP either. Snorlax and Chansey have very high HP but I can't say I have any desire to use either of them.
