TR3 PS1 not counting all secrets

So I've played through TR3 on PS1 twice recently and both times it has not counted all secrets despite me collecting them all. Does anyone know the reason for this?

I can't say that I've ever encountered this. Are you sure that you have definitely collected every secret?

Yes. I checked the stats before leaving each level

Strange, I can't say I've ever experienced this myself. It could be some sort of glitch, or maybe there's a problem with your copy of TR3 or the console that you're playing on.

What do you mean by it has not counted all secrets ? Does it just not give you access to all hallows or does it not say you got all secrets on the endgame final stats ? How many secrets does it show for you on the final stats then ? ^^

It tells me I missed secrets in the final stats. First time it showed 55 of 59 and the second time it showed 56 of 59. I collected all 60 both times

I remember my old game disc never had this problem, but some reedition, later had this bug, You can still use level skip + all secrets code to get bonus level after finishing the game, but if it really bothers You, just try another version.

I have a feeling there's a cheat that can be used to unlock All Hallows, so you'll be able to play the level that way. I personally would try not to worry about what the statistics say, as you yourself know that you collected all of the secrets. The statistics on the PS can be buggy; there was a time when I did a pacifist run for TR3 back in 2015 and the final statistics showed as me doing a total of four kills, even though I actually performed five.
