This game is definitely so dark like the 2nd black flying star as it's as black as the ground!!

Kind of funny, your signature- I had the same one for many years except it was the japanese version 運なら自分で掴むわ。 Last edited by mizuno_suisei; 28-04-20 at 02:34. |

I'm aware that what I'm about to say has already been mentioned in this thread, but I personally overcame the darkness issues by adjusting the brightness settings on my TV. I played TR3 on the PS1 and now play TR3 on the PS2 since my PS1 broke several years ago.

If it was a possibility, I would try playing at night with the lights off in the room. You should see better, but I don't know if sufficiently better. It may also depend on the type of the screen of your TV set.

I didn't think of this, but I agree that it's worth trying. TV screens do seem brighter when the room is darker; I often try having my light out and having my blind down.

Here's a comparison video: Another interesting difference: in the Japanese demonstration mode, the lit stick wielding guy manages to get past Lara and she in turn ends up shooting at nothing! You can see for yourselves around the 1:14 mark. |
