Tried my own little remastering of the opening FMV. Most people try to sharpen and make the image as crisp as possible, but I went a different direction and decided to embrace its softness and smoothen the picture rather than sharpen it.

I also fixed the white flashes so they aren't so interlaced.

To be honest I don't see any difference. Would be great to see a side-by-side comparison.

Just asking since after finishing my most recent playthrough the ending feels very oddly fitting for AOD.

A sadly unfinished over too soon ending and the way Lara walks into the darkness with the sad bit of the tune makes me wonder if maybe the people putting together the cutscene for the ending knew the writing was on the wall.

I don't know but it sure looks like a end of saga ending.
But they were doing it since TR4...
TR4 -> falls to her most-likely death
TR5 -> Von Croy found her backpack but what else ? A dead body ? Nothing ?
TR6 -> Fading into darkness to where ? The police station ? lol

It's alsmost like they were doing endings that could fit a final game since TR4.

Speaking of AOD, is it true that Greenkey (member on this forum) wrote some sort of novel which was based on AOD? If so, then I might be interested in reading it.

I'm using a communal computer owned by the NHS and it won't allow me to follow the link. However, I will check out the link when I'm back at home.

It's a bloody good book, too. I have a physical copy that I got from her years ago, not sure if she still does them.

I just got a physical copy from her a couple of months ago. I love it so much, and the audiobook is AMAZING.

I have listened to it a few times...I'm in the middle of it again right now.
